JCATS Tryouts 2025-2026 - Winter 2025

Register now for our 2025-2026 JCATS Basketball Tryouts!  The tryout fee is $30 and is non-refundable. Tryout registration opens September 6. Tryout dates are as follows...

5th Grade: Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14 from 6:30-7:45pm (at LHS)

7th Grade: Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14 from 8:15-9:30pm (at LHS)

6th Grade: Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday, October 16 from 6:30-7:45pm (at LHS)

8th Grade: Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday, October 16 from 8:15-9:30pm (at LHS)

4th Grade: Friday, October 17 from 5:30-7:00 pm (at Waukegan Fieldhouse)

*These events are both official qualifiers for the 2026 Illinois Middle School Basketball Championship to be held in Champaign, IL on March 20-22. All teams finishing 1st or 2nd in each division will qualify for the State Championship to battle top teams from towns throughout Illinois.*
